• Shift: 2‑3 days per week in the OR, flexible scheduling

• License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, Louisiana medical license

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized orthopedic hand surgical care for both outpatient and inpatient populations.

• Utilize microsurgical techniques and advanced equipment such as operating microscopes.

• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, APPs, nurses, and support staff.

• Manage a high‑volume caseload while maintaining excellent patient outcomes.

• Contribute to the growth of a well‑established referral network.

• Participate in teaching and mentoring residents, fostering the next generation of surgeons.

Requirements

• Valid Louisiana medical license (or eligibility to obtain).

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Demonstrated expertise in hand surgery and microsurgery.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a high‑volume practice setting.

• Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience teaching and mentoring residents.
