About the Role

Join a leading community mental health facility in Davenport, Iowa, as an ACT Therapist. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide ongoing individual, group, and family therapy sessions using ACT principles.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update client‑centered treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and community partners to coordinate care and support clients in accessing benefits, transportation, and community resources.

• Document all services accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).

• Participate in on‑call rotations, staffing meetings, and special interest groups such as family therapy and trauma‑informed care.

• Maintain a safe, trauma‑informed environment that aligns with agency policies and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.

• Iowa licensure in Social Work or Counseling (LMHC or LISW preferred).

• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance meeting agency policy requirements.

• Ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius of Davenport, IA.

• Proficiency with electronic health records and a strong commitment to trauma‑informed care.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in mental health or substance‑use settings, working with diverse client populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• General computer proficiency beyond EHR systems.

Work Arrangement

This is an onsite, full‑time position based at a premier facility in Davenport, IA. The role typically involves 8‑hour shifts, with flexibility to accommodate client needs and agency scheduling.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: USD 64,000 – USD 68,500 annually. A competitive hourly rate is provided for candidates traveling beyond a 50‑mile radius. Benefits may include health insurance options, paid time off, and additional perks discussed during the interview process.
