Role overview
Join a leading community mental health facility in Davenport, Iowa, as an ACT Therapist. Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Provide ongoing individual, group, and family therapy sessions using ACT principles.
Develop, implement, and regularly update client‑centered treatment plans.
Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and community partners to coordinate care and support clients in accessing benefits, transportation, and community resources.
Document all services accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Participate in on‑call rotations, staffing meetings, and special interest groups such as family therapy and trauma‑informed care.
Maintain a safe, trauma‑informed environment that aligns with agency policies and ethical standards.
Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Iowa licensure in Social Work or Counseling (LMHC or LISW preferred).
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance meeting agency policy requirements.
Ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius of Davenport, IA.
Proficiency with electronic health records and a strong commitment to trauma‑informed care.
Prior experience in mental health or substance‑use settings, working with diverse client populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
General computer proficiency beyond EHR systems.
This is an onsite, full‑time position based at a premier facility in Davenport, IA. The role typically involves 8‑hour shifts, with flexibility to accommodate client needs and agency scheduling.
Salary range: USD 64,000 – USD 68,500 annually. A competitive hourly rate is provided for candidates traveling beyond a 50‑mile radius. Benefits may include health insurance options, paid time off, and additional perks discussed during the interview process.
