Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including ventilator management and pulmonary function testing.
Initiate and manage CPAP and BiPAP therapy for patients as needed.
Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate respiratory therapy interventions.
Administer aerosol therapy and other treatments to assist with respiratory conditions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and therapy options.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
10-12 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
Proficiency in ventilator management and pulmonary function testing.
Experience in initiating CPAP and BiPAP therapy.
Strong patient assessment skills.
Ability to administer aerosol therapy.
Nice to Have
Experience in home care respiratory therapy.
Knowledge of pediatric respiratory therapy.
Familiarity with electronic medical records.
Possession of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Work Arrangement
This is an onsite position located in Texas City, United States, allowing for hands-on patient interaction and teamwork.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is USD 45,000 - USD 55,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
